According to Yelp and Zillow reports, these are the top 10 U.S. cities that offer a balance of adventure and affordability for young professionals. Listing from 1-10, the list reads: Jacksonville, Florida; Austin, Texas; Boise, Idaho; Nashville, Tennessee; Charleston, South Carolina; San Jose, California; Fort Collins, Colorado; Asheville, North Carolina; Las Vegas, Nevada; and Salt Lake City, Utah.

What makes Jacksonville, Florida number one on the list?

Out of the 10 listed, Jacksonville, Florida is the largest city in the United States. The city of Jacksonville is well known for its scenery and year-round beach weather. Additionally, Jacksonville is one the most affordable cities of Florida, with a typical rent rate of $960 per month, which is $363 cheaper than Austin, Texas, who is placed second on the list, and $535 cheaper than the number three spot: Boise, Idaho. The downside to Jacksonville is the amount of interest it has been generating. In the current fast-paced market, the popularity of this location may make it difficult to find an available listing.
